TL;DR
- Click Cases > new case or click 'n' from the Caseload
- Celect the Practice Area and Jurisdiciton
- Complete the Case Details
- Click Create Case
Step-by-Step
From anywhere in Casefriend click the Cases Menu and select New to open the New Case modal.
From the Caseload screen you can use the keyboard shortcut 'n' to open the New Case modal.
Select a pre-saved Template or the Case Practice Area and Jurisdiciton. Once you select the Jursidiction the Case Details modal will display. Complete all the required fields then click Create Case. You are now ready to add documents, e-mails and time entires to your case!
Add a Case using Templates
TL;DR
- Click Cases > new case
- Celect the Practice Area and Jurisdiciton
- Complete the Case Details
- Click Save as Template
Step-by-Step
When you commonly add Cases for the same Client you can save some time by using a Case Template to add a case.
To created a Case Template complete the new Case Modal, like normal. Instead of clicking Create Case click the Save as Template option.
Select a Name for your template and click Ok
The next time you need to create a case you can select the template and all the case details will already be filled out for you
