All Your Cases are on The Caseload
The Caseload is the first screen you see when logging into Casefriend. The Caseload displays critical information about your Cases. Closely following the Caseload will give you an overview of your work, and at-a-glance case progress. This will allow you to remain informed and updated about all your cases, and the cases at your firm. This article will review the key features of My Caseload
In this Article
Case List
The Case List displays all Cases assigned to you as a primary or secondary attorney. A Case can be assigned to you by your firm administrator or Manager.
Cases with the most recent activity are displayed at the top of the list. This way you can quickly return to your work.
Communication Timers
The Communication Timers let you know when you should update your client and update the Plan of Action. Your firm administrator will set the countdown time for each client.
Milestones
Milestones track key actions to take on a case. Casefriend comes with 5 default Milestones which can be customized by your firm administrator.
Default Milestones:
- Email - Email your client within 2 days after receiving the file
- Report - Initial report to claims within 7 days after opening the file
- Depo - Deposition of Applicant within 60 days of opening the file
- MPN - Start the 17 day clock within 14 days of opening the file
- Panel - Panel is set 17 days after MPN

Activity Icons
Activity icons alert you when there has been activity on your case. there are 4 Activity Icons

Dropper - A new Event has been added to your case

Stopwatch - A time-entry has been added to your case

Document - A new document has been added to your case

Calendar - A new task has been added to your case
Filters
You can expand or collapse the filters by using the Filters button on the right of the Caseload
- Practice Area - Display cases in a particular practice area
- Jurisdiction - Display cases from a specific jurisdiction
- Client - Display cases by a particular client
- Client Rep - Find cases assigned to a particular client rep
- Employer - Display cases by employer
- Venue - Display cases by Venue
- Attorney - Display cases assigned to particular attorney
